Previous: Riverside Walk

The river is the easiest way to keep the walk grounded: cross, turn slowly through the streets, then return to the water when the route starts to widen.

Begin at a bridge

A bridge gives the visit a clear threshold. Cross with enough time to look back toward Vilnius before following the streets inward.

Use the Angel as a hinge

Angel Square is a practical midpoint. From there, continue to the Constitution Wall, Galera or the quieter streets above the river.

Return by the Vilnelė

The river edge changes the pace of the walk. It is a useful place to pause, especially after the denser streets and courtyards.
